Role Purpose
Reporting to the Quality Manager, the Quality Controller plays a critical role in ensuring our automated manufacturing processes consistently produce high-quality, reliable products. You will serve as a quality expert on the floor; guiding operations, supporting machine operators, and acting as the voice of the customer.
This is a hands-on role in a higher level of manufacturing, where quality decisions are driven by data, testing, process understanding, and continuous improvement.
What You Will Do
- Inspect incoming raw materials to ensure conformance to specifications
- Learn and understand advanced, automated machine processes to support quality and rework activities
- Perform product testing and inspections in accordance with control plans
- Conduct reliability testing, including bend testing and temperature and humidity exposure
- Support operations with in-process testing, inspections, and troubleshooting
- Review, disposition, and document non-conforming or questionable materials
- Initiate corrective actions with internal teams and external vendors
- Monitor, maintain, and document calibration of measurement and test equipment
- Investigate customer complaints and act as the voice of the customer to ensure timely resolution
- Assist with quality audits and ensure adherence to ISO and industry standards
- Enter and analyze quality data using Microsoft-based platforms
