About the Role
Tagabel is hiring a Product Development Specialist to partner closely with our Product Development Manager and help guide trim and packaging projects from a brand's initial inquiry through pre-production approval. In this role, you'll collaborate directly with apparel brands and the product development team to create accurate, production-ready proofs, contribute creative ideas and recommendations, and support communication throughout the development process.
With a constant flow of new brands and projects, the work stays creative, fast-paced, and varied. No two weeks look the same. This is a hands-on opportunity within a growing company, offering meaningful ownership, direct exposure to the product development process, and strong potential for long-term growth alongside the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with apparel brands to understand their needs and product requirements
- Design layouts in Adobe Illustrator with accurate, production-ready specifications, including color and dimensional details
- Communicate customer requirements clearly to our overseas development team
- Research clients' existing brand portfolios and create concept packages for their review
- Produce company collateral and presentation materials for the sales team
- Manage incoming samples and coordinate distribution to clients for approval
- Manage client approvals throughout the development process and follow up on outstanding signoffs
- Respond to incoming customer inquiries about active developments
- Handle email correspondence through Microsoft Outlook
- Organize and maintain project files in SharePoint
- Keep accurate records and timelines across multiple active projects
Qualifications
- Proficiency with Adobe Illustrator (required)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organization and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines at once
- Comfortable working in Microsoft Outlook and SharePoint
- Reliable, proactive, and comfortable following up to keep work moving
