Position Summary
Tag-Ink is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Shipping/Receiving Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately receiving, inspecting, and processing all incoming shipments, as well as fulfilling and shipping customer orders. You will communicate with management, sales associates and customers, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries while helping to maintain an organized and efficient working environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, is highly organized, and takes pride in accuracy and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
· Receiving and Verification: Receive incoming shipments, verifying product quantities, descriptions, and quality against purchase orders. Communicate any discrepancies or issues with suppliers and sales associates.
· Record-Keeping: Track and record all received inventory in our management system with precision. Maintain detailed logs of incoming and outgoing shipments, noting quantity to ensure accurate records.
· Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and ship customer orders with accuracy and efficiency, ensuring proper packaging, labeling, and timely dispatch.
· Labeling and Organization: Ensure all incoming products are labeled accurately and organized appropriately. Maintain a well-structured layout for efficient space utilization.
· Documentation and Reporting: Accurately complete necessary paperwork for inventory, receiving, invoices, and order fulfillment records, ensuring digital entries align with physical records.
· Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with our sales team to stay informed on upcoming shipments. Ensure associates have the information they need to support order fulfillment and sales goals.
· Quality Control: Perform quality checks on incoming products and outgoing shipments to confirm they meet company standards. Report and address any issues promptly.
Qualifications
· 1 year of experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse, or inventory roles
· Strong attention to detail and ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment
· Comfortable working with computers and inventory/CRM systems.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Outlook and Excel)
· Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude toward teamwork and problem-solving
· Punctual, reliable, and committed to maintaining high work standards
Physical Requirements
· Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
· Comfortable standing, walking, and moving throughout the day
· Ability to perform repetitive tasks safely
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $28.46 per hour
