Overview
TAG Auto Group is seeking an experienced Master Automotive Technician to join our growing in-house reconditioning team in Roswell, GA.
This position is focused on diagnosing and repairing quality pre-owned vehicles before they are offered for sale. We are looking for a technician with strong diagnostic skills who can work independently with minimal supervision.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of professional automotive repair experience
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with domestic, Asian, and European vehicles
- Must provide your own professional tools
- Must provide your own diagnostic scan tool and laptop/computer
- Valid driver's license
- ASE Certification is a plus
Duties
- Perform complete vehicle inspections and diagnostics
- Diagnose engine, transmission, suspension, brake, steering, electrical, A/C, ABS, and check engine light concerns
- Perform quality repairs on domestic, Asian, and European vehicles
- We DO NOT DO oil changes
- Identify needed repairs and communicate findings to the Recon Manager
- Perform final road tests and quality inspections before vehicles are ready for sale
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Accurately document completed repairs and recommend additional repairs when necessary
- Work efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
Compensation
Hourly Pay Performance Bonus
- Competitive hourly pay: $30–$39/hour (based on experience)
- Guaranteed 40 hours per week
- Weekly pay
- Monthly performance bonus based on:
- Productivity (book hours completed using ALLDATA/Tekmetric)
- Quality of work
- Low comeback rate
- Reliability and attendance
