We are seeking an Information Governance Operations Analyst with 3 years of experience to support our Information Governance team in our Chicago, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Columbus, Dayton, Denver, Detroit, Indianapolis or Minneapolis office. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with the onsite Information Management Specialists to execute Taft policies and processes.
- Use Taft's information management tools to facilitate the identification, tracking, and processing of physical and electronic information.
- Coordinate with relevant Taft personnel to ensure correct identification, indexing, and management of physical collections retained onsite and at approved offsite repositories.
- Collaborate with the IG Operations Manager and IM Specialists to improve operations for the firm.
- Serve as trainer for IM Specialists and legal case teams on best practices for managing all information.
- Collect and present required metrics as directed by the IG Operations Manager.
- Review, track, and process offsite storage and shred vendor invoices.
- Assist IG Operations Manager with preparing for and executing office moves, expansions, and firm mergers.
- Troubleshoot issues related to technologies used to manage client and firm information and report on solutions.
- Support the onsite IM Specialists with the review of physical and electronic collections prior to archiving.
- Perform database searches and audits as needed.
- Assist with information clean-up projects.
- Special projects and additional duties as assigned and directed by management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3 years' related experience working in information governance/records administration.
- Experience working in a professional services environment
- Law firm experience, preferred but not required
- Experience providing exemplary customer service in a face-paced environments
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word)
- Ability to access, input, analyze, and retrieve information from various computer systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Ability to support multiple priorities simultaneously accurately and professionally
