Taft Elementary in Uxbridge, Massachusetts is seeking an ABA Technician to provide one-on-one behavioral support to students with autism and other developmental disabilities in grades K-3. This is a full-time position with benefits (8:15 AM - 3:15 PM) is ideal for individuals with behavioral training, autism experience.
Taft Elementary is a PreK-3rd grade public school serving approximately 560 students, located just 15 miles from Worcester. Job Description:
Full-time position with benefits. Work hours are from 8:15 AM to 3:15 PM.
Provide direct support to students with autism and other developmental disabilities. Assignment ranges from Preschool to 3rd Grade at the Taft Early Learning Center.
Implement Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies and interventions under the guidance of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and special education teachers.
Work one-on-one or in small groups with students to support their instructional, social, emotional, and behavioral needs throughout the school day, including during lunch and recess.
Collect and record accurate data on student behaviors and progress toward IEP goals.
Assist in creating and maintaining a positive, inclusive learning environment.
Employ positive behavior supports, accommodations, and modifications as directed by supervisors.
Participate in ongoing training in areas such as behavior management, positive behavioral supports, inclusion instructional support, and social/emotional skill development.
Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, special educators, and BCBAs to ensure consistent implementation of student support plans.
Assist with the preparation of materials and activities for student instruction and engagement.
Support students' development of social skills, communication abilities, and adaptive behaviors.
Maintain confidentiality regarding student information and adhere to school policies and procedures.
