Integrated Preschool Teacher Position Taft Early Learning Center - Uxbridge Public Schools Job Description The Uxbridge Public Schools seeks a dynamic and dedicated educator to join our preschool team at Taft Early Learning Center. This position serves students ages 3-5 years in our inclusive, integrated preschool classrooms that support children with and without disabilities. Essential Responsibilities: ● Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lessons aligned with Massachusetts Early Learning Guidelines and preschool curriculum frameworks ● Provide specialized instruction in primary content areas with appropriate modifications and accommodations for diverse learning needs ● Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) including goals, objectives, and progress documentation ● Conduct formal and informal assessments to support student learning and eligibility evaluation processes ● Participate in arena evaluation processes and collaborate with Early Intervention, private preschools, and agency programs ● Participate in team meetings including eligibility, annual reviews, re-evaluations, and IEP development ● Provide direct instruction in both inclusive classroom settings and small group/individual settings per student IEPs ● Collaborate effectively with grade-level educators, specialists, support staff, and paraprofessionals/ABA Technicians ● Maintain consistent communication with families and caregivers regarding student progress and development ● Assess student learning, monitor understanding, and adjust instruction to meet individual needs ● Create and maintain a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment that promotes growth and achievement ● Manage classroom behavior using positive behavioral supports and evidence-based practices ● Collect and analyze student work samples and data to monitor progress and identify areas for growth ● Ensure compliance with all aspects of the special education process in accordance with federal and state regulations ● Participate in professional development opportunities and faculty meetings ● Provide supervision and support for paraprofessionals assigned to classroom or student support Job Requirements Education and Licensure: ● Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, Early Childhood Education, Special Education, or related field required, (Master’s Degree preferred). ● Valid Massachusetts DESE licensure in one of the following: ○ Dual licensure in Special Education (Moderate Disabilities) and Elementary Education, OR ○ PreK-2 with/without disabilities endorsement ○ Willingness to work towards dual licensure Experience and Skills: ● Experience with IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring ● Experience with development and implementation of student education and behavior plans preferred ● Knowledge of preschool curriculum, resources, and developmentally appropriate practices ● Strong understanding of inclusive education practices and differentiated instruction ● Proficiency in conducting educational assessments and writing evaluation reports ● Experience working with students with diverse learning needs and abilities ● Excellent written and verbal communication skills ● Strong organizational and classroom management abilities ● Proficiency in using educational technology for instruction and documentation ● Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams ● Knowledge of current best practices in early childhood and special education ● Experience with positive behavioral intervention strategies Personal Qualities: ● Commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment ● Enthusiasm for working with young children and their families ● Flexibility and adaptability in meeting diverse student needs ● Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills ● Cultural competency and sensitivity to diverse backgrounds ● Professional demeanor and commitment to confidentiality Physical Requirements Must be able to: ● Have the physical ability to assist students, which may involve lifting. ● Stand/walk for extended periods ● Bend, twist, reach, and occasionally sit on floor ● Respond quickly to students' needs and emergency situations

Salary : $56,321 - $64,863
