Taelor is an AI-powered clothing rental subscription start-up for everyday menswear. We offer an online personal styling service to customers across the United States. We are hiring a stylist at our San Leandro location who will style for our customers, create styling tips, and inspire our customers to try new styles. The stylist will work closely with the merchandising team to discover new styles that work best for our customers and collaborate with our tech team on AI development.
Taelor Stylists play a critical part in understanding our customers' needs and continuously working with the entire team to exceed customer expectations and grow the customer base. Our Stylist role is a hybrid (onsite and off-site), part-time to full-time salary position.
As a Stylist, you will play a critical role in delivering a highly personalized, premium styling experience for our customers. You will combine human styling expertise with data and AI-assisted tools to style customers efficiently and effectively, ensuring a high standard of customer satisfaction.
Key responsibilities include:
- Styling customers using our AI-assisted styling tools in an efficient and effective manner
- Conducting 15-minute feedback calls with customers who opt in for a complimentary styling session
- Reviewing customer style quiz results, product feedback, preferences, and wish lists to curate personalized outfit selections
- Writing inspirational, professional, and actionable styling notes to accompany each order
- Responding to and engaging with customers in a timely, professional, and thoughtful manner
- Ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction through proactive communication and quality styling outcomes
- Reviewing inventory utilization and contributing to seasonal merchandising and assortment planning
- Collaborating with UX and Customer Service teams to resolve customer issues and improve the end-to-end user experience
- Partnering with the AI team to improve styling algorithms through real-world feedback and insights
- Providing ongoing feedback on the style quiz, styling workflows, internal systems, and inventory assortment
- Has prior online styling experience, preferably in menswear
