We’re hiring an onsite Operations Lead for our San Leandro, CA facility. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys leading by example, keeping operations running smoothly, and solving day-to-day operational challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead onsite fulfillment, laundry, logistics, and inventory operations
- Manage and coach the operations team to meet productivity, quality, and service goals
- Establish, track, and continuously improve key operational performance metrics
- Collaborate cross-functionally with merchandising, customer experience, and technology teams to improve workflows and scalability
- Design, implement, and optimize inventory management systems and quality assurance processes
- Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for operational excellence
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations and operational best practices
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe facility environment
- Source, manage, and optimize relationships with third-party vendors and operational partners
- Support warehouse expansion, capacity planning, and process scaling initiatives
- Roll up your sleeves to support daily operations when needed, including ironing, laundry, picking, packing, shipping, and local deliveries
- Partner with merchandising to onboard new inventory, including measuring, barcoding, and system uploads
- Has 2–4 years of experience in warehouse, fulfillment, logistics, or operations leadership
- Is highly organized, dependable, and detail-oriented
- Enjoys leading teams while also working hands-on alongside them
- Is efficient, proactive, and comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment
- Is a natural problem solver who takes ownership
- Has strong communication skills
- Is comfortable using email, online tools, and operational systems
