TadHealth is building software for school based mental health providers to manage documentation and reimbursement, making it easier for schools to provide support to students who need it most.
We’re a Series A company of about ~30 people, growing quickly and scaling our platform to meet rapidly expanding demand. We are now looking for a Lead Product Designer to elevate our product and grow our design team. This role offers the opportunity to shape the platform that directly impacts students' lives while building a design culture at a company entering its next stage of growth.
The TadHealth design team is responsible for the entirety of product design across our platform, from user experience to interface design. We are looking for an experienced Lead Product Designer to join our team. You will be working both within a growing design team and across the broader development team. We work in a startup atmosphere where individuals take ownership and have significant impact on the final product.

- Lead end to end design: discovery, research, flows, interfaces, and interactions.
- Contribute to and maintain a scalable design system.
- Translate complex user needs into clear, intuitive product experiences.
- Partner closely with Product and Engineering to ship quickly and effectively.
- Mentor and grow other designers.
- Advocate for simplicity and user first design in product discussions.
- Present design rationale to leadership and cross functional partners.
- Occasionally work directly with school mental health providers to ensure real world fit.
- 7 years of product design experience (applications, platforms, or comprehensive software)
- Experience designing complex, multi-user platforms with attention to usability, scalability, and compliance.
- Proven experience leading design and mentoring teammates.
- Expertise in Figma.
- Strong track record for creating intuitive user focused interfaces.
- Experience working in both early stage and growth stage startups.
- High attention to detail with the ability to move fast when needed.
- Strong understanding of accessibility standards and how they apply to real-world design.
