Lot Attendant
Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Lot Attendant/Porter to join our dealership team. This position is responsible for maintaining the appearance and organization of the dealership lot, assisting the sales and service departments, and ensuring vehicles and dealership facilities are clean, safe, and ready for customers. The ideal candidate is reliable, organized, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Organize and maintain vehicle inventory on the dealership lot.
- Move vehicles safely between the sales lot.
- Prepare vehicles for customer delivery, test drives, and showroom display.
- Wash, vacuum, fuel, and perform basic cleanliness checks on vehicles as needed.
- Receive and park incoming inventory according to dealership standards.
- Inspect vehicles for damage and report concerns to management.
- Keep the dealership lot, parking areas, entrances, and sidewalks clean and free of debris.
- Assist with snow removal, ice control, and other seasonal lot maintenance as needed.
- Transport vehicles to and from off-site locations including other dealerships within our organization, auctions, vendors, or customer locations when required.
- Follow all dealership safety procedures and operate vehicles responsibly.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to drive automatic vehicles; manual transmission experience is a plus.
- Ability to safely operate a variety of vehicles.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent work ethic and dependable attendance.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in varying
Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour
