Position Summary
We are seeking a Senior Systems Engineer with deep expertise in cloud platforms, AI technologies, and enterprise architecture to help scale and evolve the TADA platform and integrated solution suites. This individual will play a key role in designing platform strategy, driving technical innovation, and building scalable, intelligent systems in a fast-paced startup environment. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in platform engineering, architecture, and cloud-native development, along with a collaborative, solution-oriented mindset. The candidate will reside in or relocate to our corporate office location in Peoria, IL.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and scale core platform capabilities and integrated solution suites across the TADA ecosystem.
- Lead architecture and development efforts for cloud-native, scalable, and secure systems.
- Drive integration strategy across APIs, microservices, cloud services, and enterprise platforms.
- Direct AI-enabled platform initiatives, including intelligent automation and data-driven solutions.
- Partner with Product Managers, Architects, and Engineering teams to align platform development with business and customer needs.
- Oversee technical direction through architecture reviews, mentorship, and engineering best practices.
- Execute and develop and optimize cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and/or GCP environments.
- Manage and lead platform modernization, performance optimization, and system reliability initiatives.
- Direct agile development activities including sprint planning, design discussions, and code reviews.
- Lead architectural standards, technical decisions, and platform best practices.
Desired Profile
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related technical field required. PhD in a related field is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in software engineering, systems engineering, platform engineering, or solution architecture roles.
- Strong background in enterprise platform architecture, integrated system design, and cloud-native application development.
- Demonstrated experience building and scaling platform ecosystems and integrated technology suites.
- Deep knowledge of cloud computing platforms and services, including AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.
- Experience designing and implementing scalable APIs, distributed systems, microservices, and platform infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of AI/ML technologies, intelligent automation, large language model integrations, data-driven architectures, and emerging AI platform capabilities.
- Experience working across full-stack technologies, including modern front-end frameworks (such as React) and back-end development using languages such as Python, Node.js, C/C , or similar technologies.
- Strong understanding of system architecture principles, security best practices, performance optimization, and scalability considerations.
- Experience leading technical initiatives, conducting design reviews, mentoring engineers, and influencing architectural direction.
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, infrastructure-as-code, and agile development methodologies.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Self-starter who thrives in a dynamic startup environment with evolving priorities and rapid growth initiatives.

Salary : $75,000 - $145,000
