Customer Service:
Greet customers with a friendly and welcoming attitude.
Take customer orders and provide information about the menu items, specials, and any dietary restrictions.
Address customer questions and concerns professionally and courteously.
Ensure a positive and friendly customer experience.
Order Processing:
Accurately input customer orders into the point-of-sale (POS) system.
Verify the accuracy of orders before transmitting them to the kitchen staff.
Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure orders are prepared and delivered in a timely manner.
Payment Handling:
Accept cash, credit/debit cards, and mobile payment methods.
Calculate and communicate the total cost to the customer.
Provide change and receipts as necessary.
Maintain an accurate cash drawer and ensure all transactions are recorded correctly.
Maintaining Cleanliness:
Keep the cashier area clean and organized.
Assist with general cleaning and tidying of the food truck when necessary.
Menu Knowledge:
Stay informed about the food truck's menu, including ingredients, pricing, and daily specials.
Be able to answer customer questions about the menu.
Cash Register Reconciliation:
Balance the cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift.
Prepare end-of-day reports and reconcile sales transactions.
Compliance and Food Safety:
