The Problem We're Solving
Tada is the autonomous AI agent for HR, Payroll & Compliance. We're fundamentally rethinking how software works in the People Ops space; instead of building passive tools for operators to use, we're building active agents that can assist them.
Payroll data sits in silos across states, legacy platforms, PDFs, and spreadsheets. We're building the intelligence layer that standardizes these fragmented workflows and navigates so companies don't need hundreds of humans and Excel sheets.

The Role:
You'll be building directly alongside me, our VP of Engineering, and a small team of engineers who are sharp on AI. We expect our engineers to be comfortable talking to customers so we can turn their actual back-office pain into shipped products.
You'll be architecting true autonomous agents that read legacy data, make complex cross-jurisdictional compliance decisions, and execute multi-step workflows end-to-end directly into systems of record.
Who you are
- 7 years shipping production code
- A builder: you love solving problems and building cool things (side projects, weird hacks, OSS, we love to see it)
- Results-oriented: formal credentials matter way less to us than what you've actually shipped
- Bonus: previous experience with payroll or HR systems
