We have an outstanding Contract position for an Electrical Designer to join a leading Company located in the Pawcatuck, CT surrounding area.
Provide electrical design support for custom industrial machinery by producing production-ready electrical documentation and control panel designs.
Responsibilities:
- Develop electrical schematics and panel layouts
- Create wiring diagrams and BOMs
- Select electrical hardware
- Update legacy documentation and updates
- Support UL508A/NFPA 79/NEC compliance
- Coordinate with Controls Engineering, Manufacturing, and Purchasing
Basic Hiring Criteria:
- Minimum 5 years of industrial electrical design experience
- AutoCAD Electrical
- Machine control system design
- PLC I/O, VFDs, servo systems, safety circuits
- ETO environment experience
Desired Qualifications:
- Allen-Bradley/Rockwell
- UL508A and NFPA 79
- Plastics extrusion or converting
- Industrial automation and machine safety
