TactStaff EDU is seeking a dedicated and collaborative Special Education Teacher for a full-time onsite position during the 2026–2027 school year in Maryland. This role involves supporting students primarily within the general education setting while working closely with school teams to promote academic and behavioral success.
Position Responsibilities
- Provide specialized instruction and support to students with disabilities in inclusive/general education settings
- Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, administrators, and families
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals and accommodations
- Support student learning, behavioral interventions, and academic progress monitoring
- Maintain compliant documentation and participate in IEP meetings
- Foster a positive, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment
Primarily serving students with:
- Other Health Impairments (OHI)
- Learning Disabilities
- Autism Spectrum Disorder
- Language Impairments
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Active Special Education Teaching Certification required in Maryland
- Previous school-based experience preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills
