Assignments may include commercial properties, construction sites, oil and gas operations, special events, mobile patrol, fire watch, access control, and other client locations throughout our service area.
As a Security Professional, you will serve as the first line of protection for our clients by maintaining a visible security presence, observing and reporting suspicious activity, enforcing site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to incidents and emergencies. Every assignment requires professionalism, sound judgment, strong communication skills, and a commitment to exceptional customer service.

What You'll Do- Conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols of assigned client properties.
- Monitor buildings, parking areas, entrances, exits, and restricted locations.
- Observe, document, and report suspicious activity, safety concerns, policy violations, and security incidents.
- Complete Daily Activity Reports (DARs), incident reports, and required documentation accurately and professionally.
- Control access to client facilities by verifying authorized personnel, visitors, contractors, and vendors.
- Respond appropriately to emergencies and coordinate with supervisors, emergency responders, or law enforcement when necessary.
- Maintain a professional appearance and provide outstanding customer service while representing both TACTIX Security Solutions and our clients.
- Follow all company policies, client post orders, and applicable federal, state, and local laws.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, dispatch personnel, clients, and fellow officers.
- Perform additional security-related duties as assigned.
- Valid California BSIS Guard Card (Required)
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Reliable transportation to assigned work locations
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to remain calm and exercise sound judgment during stressful situations
- Professional appearance and strong customer service skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to stand, walk, patrol, and work outdoors for extended periods
- Basic computer and smartphone proficiency for reporting and communication
- Availability to work day, swing, graveyard, weekend, and holiday shifts as business needs require
- Previous security, military, law enforcement, corrections, or customer service experience is preferred but not required
- First Aid and CPR certification is a plus
