- Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and POS (Point of Sale) system management
- Manage inventory levels through purchasing, stock replenishment, merchandising, and inventory control practices
- Handle customer inquiries with professionalism using excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Assist in recruiting new team members through interviewing and evaluating candidates
- Implement marketing strategies to promote products and increase store traffic while maintaining visual merchandising standards
- Ensure compliance with company policies, cash handling procedures, and safety regulations
Qualifications
- Proven experience in retail management or assistant manager roles
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to foster a positive work environment
- Excellent communication skills in multiple languages; bilingual abilities are a plus
- Demonstrated expertise in inventory management, purchasing, pricing, and retail math
- Proficiency with POS systems, cashiering procedures, bookkeeping, payroll processing, and general administrative tasks
- Knowledge of marketing strategies, merchandising techniques, stock stocking procedures, and store presentation standards
- Experience in recruiting, interviewing candidates, employee orientation, training & development programs
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently with excellent organizational skills and time management
