Do you know how to install electric door strikes, magnetic locks, card readers, and access control systems? We’re looking for a dependable technician who takes pride in quality workmanship and helping customers protect their property.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
🔧 Install, align, wire, and test door strikes, maglocks, keypads, readers, controllers, and door-release devices.
🔌 Run, terminate, label, and test low-voltage cabling.
💻 Program access permissions, schedules, credentials, and network-connected equipment.
🛠️ Troubleshoot and repair hardware, wiring, power, and communication issues.
✅ Perform maintenance, document your work, train customers, and maintain safe emergency exit operation.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• High school diploma or GED.
• At least one year of experience in access control, security systems, or related low-voltage work.
• Hands-on ability to install electric door strikes, magnetic locks, and electrified door hardware, including proper door and frame alignment.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and use hand tools, power tools, cable testers, and a multimeter.
• Basic computer and networking knowledge.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites.
• Ability to work on ladders and lift up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Strong communication, troubleshooting, and recordkeeping skills; ability to work independently or with a team.
