Position Overview:
Tactical Solutions Inc., a premier firearms manufacturer based in Boise, Idaho, is seeking a detail-oriented and mechanically inclined Firearm Assembly Technician. This role plays a vital part in assembling, inspecting, and testing high-quality firearms that meet our industry-leading standards for precision and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble and disassemble firearms and components following detailed instructions and safety protocols
- Inspect parts for fit, finish, and functionality throughout the assembly process
- Test completed firearms to ensure mechanical reliability and accuracy
- Identify and report defects or malfunctions during the build or testing process
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace in accordance with 5S and company safety guidelines
- Complete required documentation and inventory logs accurately and on time
- Support cross-functional teams as needed for process improvements
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Basic mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn firearm functionality
- Previous assembly or manufacturing experience preferred
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be able to pass a mandatory criminal background check and legally possess firearms
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods
- Lift and handle up to 50 lbs unassisted
- Manual dexterity to handle small parts and tools
- Ability to work in a shop environment with moderate noise, dust, or fumes
Preferred Experience (Not Required):
- Previous experience in firearm assembly or servicing
- Understanding of the firearm cycle of operations
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing or 5S principles
