Unarmed Officer
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Stable and consistent work history
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must successfully pass a drug test.
- Must have a driver’s license
- Must have a PERC card and 20 hour training certificate
- Must have good written and verbal communication skills
- Must have active listening skills
- Must have access to reliable transportation
- Must have a personal cell phone with the ability to text/online access
- Must be computer literate
- Must be able to pass an extensive background check, including criminal history, personal references, employment and education verifications, and Department of Motor Vehicle and credit checks if applicable
* Must be able to work from 3:45am to 11am
OFFICER DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Secure premises and personnel by patrolling the property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting/denying entry.
- Greeting Patron’s upon entering and exiting the premises.
- Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures; reporting trespassers
- Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities.
- Ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public
- Ability to assess and evaluate situations effectively
- Ability to identify critical issues quickly and accurately
- Attention to details
- Ability to work in all types of whether conditions (Not an Outdoor Position)
