Duties:
- Provide direct care and assistance to residents in accordance with their individual care plans
- Assist with medication administration and ensure proper documentation
- Support residents with personal hygiene tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed
- engage residents in meaningful activities
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents
- Adhere to resident rights and promote independence and dignity
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in direct care or a related field is preferred
- Ability to administer medications accurately and safely
- First aid certification is desirable
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with residents and their families
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature
