Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Team Members to join our dynamic café environment. As a Team Member, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service while ensuring the smooth operation of our food service area. You will be responsible for preparing and serving food, handling cash transactions, and maintaining a clean and inviting atmosphere for our guests.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve food items in accordance with health and safety regulations.
• Operate kitchen equipment efficiently and safely.
• Manage cash register transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and café area.
• Assist customers with menu selections and provide recommendations as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours.
• Adhere to food handling procedures to guarantee the highest quality of food safety.
• Demonstrate effective time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the food industry or culinary field is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
• Strong math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
• Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
• Knowledge of food handling best practices is advantageous.
• A passion for providing outstanding customer service in a café setting is essential.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $11.00 - $12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 28 – 35 per week
