RN Supervisor
Location: Taconic Rehabilitation and Nursing at Beacon
SHIFT: Evening 3p to 11p OR Overnights 11p-7a
Annual Salary: $93,600 - $104,000 (depending on experience)
SIGN ON BONUS: Up to $7,500
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated RN Supervisor to join our team at Taconic Rehabilitation and Nursing at Beacon. In this position, you will oversee the day-to-day clinical activities of healthcare personnel while ensuring the safety and comfort of residents. This role requires strong clinical decision-making, as well as expertise in administering medication, wound care, and other essential interventions.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with the healthcare team to assess, plan, and evaluate patient care.
- Administer and record prescribed medications and treatments.
- Monitor vital signs and document patients' medical information.
- Manage common geriatric syndromes such as cardiovascular, respiratory, and musculoskeletal issues.
- Prepare equipment and assist physicians during examinations.
- Communicate with families regarding patient progress.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all care provided.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
