Supervisor/Field Installer/ Driver for Metal Fabrication Shop

Looking to Hire an experienced Installer to become a part of our team! You will assist with the installation and repair of gates and railings. You will be driving a manual transmission work truck to pick up and drop off from vendors. Pay is DOE typically between $32-42 hr. starting.

This position requires self-sufficiency. Supervision under special circumstances with an expectation of little to no supervision of typical projects, and repairs after training period is complete.

Responsibilities:

• Load truck and safely secure loads
• Work outside in variable weather conditions: Rain, wind, snow ect.
• Site prep-concrete footings and digging
• Load and clean tools from work truck, maintain cleanliness and organization of work truck
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Perform routine preventative maintenance
• Track equipment and supplies for installations
• Excellent communication between project manager and customer to ensure high quality
• Work under little to no supervision. Able to work on your feet and pivot when problems arise onsite
• Professional installation inside customer’s home
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Ability to drive a manual transmission work truck and pull a trailer
• Clean driving record. Must provide a driver's abstract to be added to insurance
• Metal fabrication/welding experience required
• Experience with saws, drills, deburring, basic hand tools.  Familiarity with metal fabrication installation procedures
• Ability to handle physical workload/ Lift 50 lbs and be on your feet for long periods of time
• Ability to work well in teams
• Ability to prioritize and multitask

Salary:

• From $32-42 per hour DOE

Experience:

• Welding: 5 years (Required)
• Installation: 5 years (Required)
• Operation of site equipment. Backhoe, telehandler, etc.
• Working from heights. Ladders, man lifts, etc.
• Installation experience in metal working industry
• Understanding of installation prints

Work Location:

• Depends on jobsite
• Start and end at shop daily
