Production Manager
Tacoma Glass produces fabricated glass, insulated units, shower doors, and custom laminated glass. Our reputation is built on two things: Quality and On-time delivery. We take pride in delivering high-quality glass while maintaining a strong team-oriented culture.
We are looking for a Production Manager to lead day shift operations at our Tacoma facility. This is not a desk-management role. The right candidate will spend 75% of time on the production floor, working directly with department leads and employees to ensure safety, quality, communication, and on-time delivery.
What your day looks like
• Lead day shift production operations across multiple departments
• Manage and support department leads and production employees
• Maintain strong communication between departments to keep production flowing
• Ensure orders are completed safely, accurately, and on time
• Respond quickly to changing priorities, customer expedites, and production bottlenecks
• Work with maintenance to support machine reliability and production quality
• Help identify and address quality concerns and root causes
• Hold employees accountable while maintaining respect and professionalism
• Stay engaged with the floor and daily production metrics
• Build trust with employees through consistency, communication, and leadership
• Work with our office on technical and scheduling questions

Glass industry experience is not required. We are willing to train the right leader.
