Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and take food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems
- Process cash, credit card, and mobile payments efficiently while ensuring accurate cash register operations
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Prepare simple food items when needed, adhering to food safety standards and sanitation protocols
- Maintain a clean workspace by bussing tables, sanitizing surfaces, and organizing supplies regularly
- Operate kitchen equipment safely during food preparation and assist with basic food handling tasks
- Manage customer orders with professionalism, ensuring timely service and positive guest interactions
Requirements
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; cashiering experience is a plus
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately with basic math skills
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing time effectively
- Experience with food preparation, serving, bussing, sanitation, and operating kitchen equipment is advantageous
- Retail sales experience or grocery store background is beneficial but not required
