Job Overview
We’re on the lookout for a motivated and energetic Supervisor to lead our Taco John’s team in Yankton. As a supervisor, you’ll oversee daily operations, support staff development, and ensure the restaurant runs smoothly from shift to shift. Responsibilities

• Manage daily restaurant operations, including opening, closing, and shift transitions to ensure efficiency and consistency.
• Supervise team members, providing guidance, training, and support to foster a positive work environment.
• Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain high standards of quality and safety.
• Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring proper cash handling procedures.
• Control inventory levels by monitoring stock, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste through effective inventory control.
• Enforce food safety regulations and cleanliness standards to guarantee a safe dining environment for guests and staff.
• Assist with hiring, interviewing, and training new team members to build a strong, knowledgeable staff.

Experience

• Previous supervisory or management experience in a quick service or fast food restaurant is required.
• Hands-on experience with food preparation, cooking, and food handling practices.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable.
• Background in hospitality management or restaurant management will be an advantage.
• Proven ability to lead teams effectively while maintaining high standards of customer service.
• Experience in inventory control, budgeting, and food safety protocols is preferred.
