Server/Bartender

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area
- Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for alcohol consumption
- Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately
- Ensure compliance with all food safety and sanitation regulations
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Assist with setting up and breaking down the bar area for service
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage orders for catering events

Requirements:
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Basic math skills for calculating bills, tips, and inventory management
- Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices

Skills:
- Food handling: Knowledge of proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene standards are met.
- POS: Experience using point-of-sale systems for order processing, payment transactions, and tracking sales.
- Catering: Ability to coordinate beverage service for catering events, including setup, service, and cleanup.
- Food industry: Familiarity with the operations and standards of the food service industry.
- Help: Willingness to assist customers with their inquiries, provide recommendations, and address any concerns.
- Sales: Ability to upsell menu items, promote specials, and maximize sales opportunities.
- Basic math: Proficiency in performing basic mathematical calculations for cash handling, bill splitting, etc.
- Food safety: Knowledge of food safety regulations to maintain cleanliness and prevent cross-contamination.
- Cash handling: Experience handling cash transactions accurately while providing correct change.
- Food service: Understanding of proper serving techniques, etiquette, and customer service principles.
