Taco Del Gnar is looking for a night prep cook.

Let’s not lie to each other—but let’s not get too dramatic either.

It’s fluorescent lights. It’s a little hot. It’s stained t-shirts, worn-in Vans, and eventually accepting those Vans are done after a hard season. It’s you, a cutting board, a pile of produce, and a playlist that slowly gets weirder as the night goes on.

This is a night shift position. You’ll be holding it down while the rest of the world chills out—chopping, mixing, cleaning, and getting everything dialed so the crew can hit the ground running the next day. It’s not glamorous, but it’s honest work, and it matters more than people think.

We’ve got a tight crew here. The kind of team that actually has each other’s backs, talks a little smack , works hard, and still keeps it fun. It feels a lot like a family—without the weird holiday arguments. If you do your part, people notice. If you need help, people show up.

We welcome all walks of life—misfits, lifers, career changers, night owls, people figuring it out, and people who’ve hit a rough patch and are working their way back. If you show up, work hard, and treat people right, you’ll fit in just fine. If you’re aggro, constantly bringing drama, or showing up drunk… this is not your spot.

We’re looking for someone who can handle a knife, move with purpose, and doesn’t act personally attacked by a sink full of dishes. Someone who can work solo without spiraling, and takes a little pride in doing things right.

You don’t have to be perfect—but you do have to give a hoot.
