Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced casual restaurant environment. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and efficiently, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. This position requires strong communication skills, a passion for customer service, and the ability to work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house staff.
Duties
- Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to guests in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and presentation.
- Assist servers by providing support during busy periods, including refilling drinks and clearing tables.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables after guests leave.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication regarding orders and special requests.
- Adhere to food safety standards and proper handling procedures at all times.
- Assist in food preparation as needed, including basic cooking tasks or assembling dishes.
- Utilize POS systems such as TOAST POS or SHIFT4 POS for order tracking when necessary.
- Provide excellent guest services by addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
- Familiarity with kitchen operations and culinary practices is advantageous.
- Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail.

Base Pay: $13.00 - $13.50 per hour
