Job Title: Product owner (for System Engineering Team)

Full Time/Contract
Note: System engineer with ADAS and Chassis experience is required (12 years of experience).
• Product Ownership: o Act as a Product Owner (as applicable) to define, prioritize, and manage system features and backlog. o Ensure alignment between customer expectations and engineering deliverables.
• Domain Understanding: o Strong understanding of the automotive domain relevant to the project (e.g., ADAS, Chassis, Restraints, Upfitter, Trailer Tow, TPMS etc).
Responsibilities:
o Understand and manage interfaces between different features and subsystems. o Analyze and interpret customer needs and translate them into actionable system requirements.
• Subsystem & Feature Analysis: o Understand subsystem features, functionalities, and behavior. o Ensure proper decomposition of system requirements into subsystem-level requirements.
• Interface Management: o Ensure compatibility and integration across systems.
• System Engineering Activities: o Develop and maintain system requirements, boundary diagrams, and capability definitions. o Support system architecture definition and validation. • Tool Proficiency: o Work with MagicDraw (or equivalent MBSE tools, SysMLv2) for system modeling and documentation.
• Agile Execution: o Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including customers and internal leadership.
Required Skills:
o Plan, track, and execute work based on Agile methodologies (Scrum/SAFe). o Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Collaboration & Stakeholder Management: o Work closely with cross-functional teams (Other subsystems like Body, Lighting, Powertrain, Vehicle Access etc).
• Strong understanding of System Engineering principles
• Experience in automotive domain (preferably ADAS and Chassis systems)
Requirements:
• To be able to derive capabilities, system requirements, interfaces, SysML artifacts
• Hands-on experience with MagicDraw or similar MBSE tools on SysMLv2
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum / SAFe)
• Good analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills:
• Exposure to system integration and validation processes
• Understanding of end-to-end vehicle systems and architecture
