Food Delivery Driver

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and professional Food Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering food orders promptly and safely to customers, ensuring excellent customer service throughout the process. This role requires a valid driver’s license, experience in route driving, and the ability to handle heavy lifting and moving tasks when necessary. The position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Duties

• Safely operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks or other commercial vehicles, following assigned routes efficiently.
• Load and unload food orders using appropriate equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts when necessary.
• Ensure accurate and timely delivery of orders to customers’ specified locations.
• Provide excellent customer service by maintaining professionalism and addressing customer inquiries or concerns politely.
• Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations during route driving and delivery operations.
• Assist with warehouse tasks such as moving inventory or supplies when required.
• Maintain cleanliness and routine maintenance of delivery vehicle to ensure safety and reliability.
• Complete delivery documentation accurately and report any issues or delays promptly.

Experience

• Prior experience as a delivery driver, courier, or in a similar route driving role preferred.
• Experience with warehouse operations, including loading/unloading heavy items, forklift operation, or pallet jack use is a plus.
• Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles and commercial driving regulations is desirable.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
• Ability to handle physical tasks such as heavy lifting, moving large items, or loading/unloading cargo efficiently.

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
