Bartender / Beverage Assistant (Wine-Focused)

We’re looking for a wine-forward bartender who loves hospitality, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is excited to be a true cross-functional teammate. This role blends high-level bar service, thoughtful wine guidance, strong operational follow-through, and meaningful time rotating into our small-but-mighty kitchen during service.

In addition to service shifts, this position includes 5–10 hours per week assisting with our beverage program, with a strong focus on organization, data entry, training support, and collaborating on wine selection.

If you’re equal parts service pro, wine nerd (in the best way), and organized operator—and you enjoy variety over routine—this could be a great fit.

You are:

• Wine-curious and hospitality-obsessed

• Fast, calm, and warm under pressure

• Highly organized with strong spreadsheet skills

• Flexible and energized by varied daily tasks

• Excited to support both bar and kitchen during service

Requirements:

• 1 year working directly with wine (wine bar, strong restaurant program, retail, or sales)

• 2 years serving/bartending in fast-paced, high-level service (casual fine dining and above)

• Strong organizational spreadsheet skills

• Willingness to rotate into the kitchen during service

We love making people feel great through high level hospitality in a very casual setting. Though we have a well recognized beverage program, Tabula Rasa Bar, at its core, is a neighborhood bar first.
