Description:
The Medical Billing Specialist position is responsible for all charge entry, payment posting, billing, revenue cycle management for assigned accounts. The main responsibilities include researching and working with payers to resolve issues and secure prompt payment of claims. Insurance representatives follow up on insurance processing errors, denials, and open claims. Understanding CPT Codes, ICD10 codes, medical software systems in order for claims to process correctly. The position requires the ability to work independently, accomplish goals on a timeline, and excel in communication. The position will receive full training and has a flexible work schedule.
Required Job Knowledge & Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Tebra, Jane APP, ChiroTouch medical billing software knowledge a plus
- Reliable attendance record
- Medical/Health Insurance terminology
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
