Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care, with experience across various healthcare settings including long-term care, hospitals, and assisted living facilities. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient-centered care, supporting residents’ daily needs, and ensuring their safety and well-being through attentive caregiving and medical assistance.
Duties
- Assist residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using assistive devices like Hoyer lifts.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates, ensuring accurate documentation within electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Support medication administration under supervision, adhering to HIPAA regulations and aseptic techniques to maintain patient safety.
- Provide specialized care for residents with dementia or memory impairments, including Alzheimer’s and behavioral health management.
- Collaborate with nursing staff to implement care plans tailored to individual needs across diverse settings such as acute care, long-term care, hospice, or pediatric environments.
- Maintain infection control standards by practicing proper hand hygiene and using personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Assist with medical procedures such as catheter care or phlebotomy when trained and authorized.
- Support emergency response efforts in high-acuity environments like Level I Trauma Centers or ICU units by applying basic life support skills.
Experience
- Prior experience working as a Certified Nursing Assistant in settings such as hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or home care is highly desirable.
- Experience with Epic EMR systems or other electronic health record platforms is preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and aseptic techniques is essential for effective patient care.
- Demonstrated ability to work with individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges enhances your suitability for this role.
- Previous exposure to specialized areas such as geriatrics, behavioral health, ICU environments, or post-acute care will strengthen your application.

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
