Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Pizzeria Manager to lead daily operations and ensure exceptional customer service in a fast-paced, casual dining environment. Duties
- Supervise daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, cooking, and service delivery
- Manage staff scheduling, training, and development to ensure team efficiency and high performance
- Oversee POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling
- Control inventory levels, order supplies, and monitor food production to minimize waste and optimize costs
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards across the kitchen and dining areas
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and promote excellent customer service experiences
- Manage shift transitions smoothly by coordinating team efforts and maintaining operational flow
- Assist in budgeting, cost control, and overall restaurant management to meet business objectives
- Conduct interviews and participate in hiring processes to build a competent team of food service professionals
- Lead by example in hospitality management practices, fostering a positive work environment
Requirements
- Proven experience in restaurant management within quick service & fast food or casual dining settings
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management with culinary experience preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; cash handling expertise required
- Demonstrated leadership skills with supervising experience in hospitality or food service management
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest needs effectively
- Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures to ensure compliance at all times
- Experience with inventory control, budgeting, training & development, and team management
- Ability to manage shift schedules efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and service
- Hospitality or hotel experience is a plus; previous assistant manager or restaurant management experience highly desirable
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interview candidates and develop staff talent
