Python with AI / ML

We are seeking an experienced Python Developer to design, develop, and implement an AI-powered chatbot to streamline our client’s IT help desk operations. The chatbot will serve as the first point of contact for employees seeking IT support, authenticate users via Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), reference internal Confluence knowledge base articles for self-service answers, and submit help desk tickets when issues cannot be resolved automatically.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain a Python-based AI chatbot solution.
• Integrate the chatbot with Microsoft Entra ID for secure user authentication and access control.
• Connect the chatbot to Confluence to surface knowledge base content and assist users before creating tickets.
• Implement integration with our help desk/ticketing platform (Zoho ServiceDesk Plus).
• Ensure chatbot usability, scalability, and reliability for enterprise-wide adoption.
• Collaborate with IT, support, and knowledge management teams to optimize workflows and improve end-user experience.
• Maintain best practices in code quality, testing, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Python.
• Proven experience building and deploying AI-driven chatbots (experience with frameworks such as LangChain, Rasa, or Azure/OpenAI APIs a plus).
• Hands-on experience integrating with Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD for authentication and authorization.
• Familiarity with Confluence APIs or similar knowledge base integrations.
• Experience working with help desk or ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceDesk Plus, ServiceNow, JIRA Service Management, etc.).
• Knowledge of REST APIs, authentication protocols (OAuth2, SAML), and secure application development.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
