Position Overview:
The on-call catering server/bartender is responsible for helping to set up, run, and break down catered and non-catered events. Familiarity with a wide variety of drink recipes and are capable of delivering quality customer service. Catering server/ bartenders are servers first and can be scheduled as bartenders as needed.
Job Responsibilities:
- Follow all state and local laws for serving alcohol responsibly.
- Prepare garnish and mixers prior to leaving for events.
- Prepare drink for guests according to specified recipes.
- Maintain cleanliness and condition of bar, bar unit, tables, and other tools, following all set-up guidelines.
- Stock ice, glassware, and paper supplies.
- Requisition all necessary supplies, specifically bottle-for-bottle liquor restock, transporting supplies from storeroom to bar set-up area as required.
- Anticipate and communicate replenishment needs promptly.
- When applicable; monitoring the cash drawer at the bar. Processes cash and credit card payments using company POS system. Adheres to cash handling policies.
- Performing alcohol inventories at the end of each event to help in maintaining proper inventory levels.
