Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using Toast POS
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while ensuring presentation quality and proper food handling procedures
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns, and ensuring overall satisfaction
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including bussing tables and resetting stations
• Utilize reservation management tools like OpenTable to coordinate seating arrangements during busy hours
• Support food preparation and kitchen staff as needed to ensure timely delivery of orders
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
• Follow all food safety regulations and sanitation protocols to uphold health standards

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments; fine or casual is required
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and enthusiastically
• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while multitasking seamlessly
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Strong communication skills with a friendly attitude that fosters guest loyalty
