Position Overview
The Superintendent is responsible for leading all on-site construction activities from project start through completion. This role is critical to ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day field operations on commercial construction projects
- Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and site logistics
- Maintain project schedule and proactively address delays
- Enforce jobsite safety standards and company policies
- Conduct daily site meetings and communicate progress with Project Managers
- Ensure quality control and adherence to plans/specifications
- Track field productivity and report progress
- Maintain clean, organized, and professional job sites
- Identify and resolve field issues quickly and effectively
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, and sequencing
- Proven ability to manage subcontractors and drive schedules
- Experience with ground-up and/or renovation projects
- Ability to read and interpret plans, specs, and schedules
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- OSHA 30 (preferred)
