Role Description The Foundry Manager is a full-time, on-site leadership role based in Russellville, AR, responsible for overseeing all foundry operations from alloy casting through finished products. This role manages daily production activities, ensures safe and efficient melting and casting processes, and drives continuous improvement in quality, yield, and throughput. The Foundry Manager coordinates staffing, training, and performance of foundry team members, maintains process controls and documentation, and collaborates with engineering and extrusion operations to support process integration and product development. This position monitors equipment reliability, leads preventive maintenance efforts, and enforces environmental, health, and safety standards. The Foundry Manager also analyzes production data, manages budgets, and partners with leadership to align foundry output with customer and business requirements.

Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise in Foundry Management, including supervision of personnel, production planning, and operational oversight.
- Hands-on experience with Casting and Metal Casting processes, including melt practices, mold preparation, and defect prevention.
- Knowledge of Metallurgy, with the ability to interpret alloy specifications, control material properties, and troubleshoot metallurgical issues.
- Experience in Process Integration across casting, extrusion, and finishing operations to optimize flow, quality, and productivity.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to coach teams, resolve conflicts, and promote a safety-focused culture.
- Proficiency in using production data, KPIs, and root cause analysis tools to drive process improvements and cost reductions.
- Familiarity with ISO-9001 or similar quality management systems and experience implementing standard work and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Relevant technical education in metallurgy, materials science, mechanical engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience in metal casting operations.
