- Precise measurement and field documentation skills with strong attention to detail
- Clear, proactive communicator with Project Managers, Engineers, and General Contractors
- Proficient in Innergy, PlanGrid, Bluebeam/Adobe Acrobat, and Microsoft Office
- Solid understanding of millwork construction methods and job site conditions
- Able to work independently in the field while staying connected to the office team
- Strong organizational skills, able to manage multiple upcoming surveys at once
Position Focus
- Conduct field surveys at job sites, capturing measurements, conditions, and deviations from approved shop drawings accurately and completely
- Serve as eyes and ears on site for Project Management and Engineering teams, communicating field conditions clearly and promptly
- Coordinate with GC Superintendents on site to discuss deviations, clarify conditions, verify hold-to measurements, and relay communications to the Project Manager
- Join the daily Engineering call to ensure field-related information reaches the Engineering Manager and team promptly
- Prepare for upcoming surveys in the office — reviewing schedules, curating current shop drawings, meeting with Project Managers and Engineers, and optimizing the survey schedule for efficiency
- Debrief recently completed field conditions with the relevant Project Manager and Engineering Manager to ensure information is captured and acted on
