What are the responsibilities and job description for the Social Media and Content Manager position at TABBE Designs?
TABBE (Fractional, Hybrid)
TABBE is an NYC-based contemporary ready-to-wear brand. The design language centers on inflated, bubble-forward silhouettes translated into ready-to-wear, and the brand is built around a mission to destigmatize mental health.
The role reports directly to the Founder and Creative Director.
This job includes shooting, editing, and publishing original content, maintaining the content calendar, managing community across all channels, and owning the social strategy across every collection, campaign, and activation going forward. This is an end-to-end role: the person in it captures the footage and edits it themselves.
Main responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Marketing lead to develop social media strategies aligned with overall business goals. This includes identifying target audiences, setting objectives, and optimizing content based on insights and trends.
- Shoot and edit original video and photo content for Instagram, TikTok, Youtube and Pinterest — including reels, BTS, product, and event coverage. Editing is a core, daily part of this role.
- Generate original content across formats — video, photo, graphics, and copy — tailored to each platform and aligned to the brand's voice, values, and content pillars.
- Own and maintain the content calendar across all channels, including timing, frequency, and format mix.
- Lead content strategy for runway shows, campaigns, and activations: coordinate with external creatives and PR, plan capture, and edit and deliver content before, during, and after.
- Develop influencer and creator strategy, identifying key creators and managing collaborations for social content.
- Oversee community management across all channels — comments, DMs, and mentions — responding in the brand's voice.
- Monitor performance, trends, platform features, and algorithm changes, and adjust the plan based on what the numbers show.
- Apply graphic design skills as needed for newsletters, retailer assets, and ad hoc marketing needs.
Key requirements:
- 3 years creating content for social media, in-house or freelance, with a focus on Fashion & Luxury and a trusted network of external creators. At least one year owning a brand's channels end to end.
- Strong video editing skills — fluency in Adobe Premiere Pro or CapCut is required.
- Excellent working knowledge of Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, and YouTube.
- Experience with Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, or Canva.
- Understanding of social analytics and web traffic metrics.
- Hands-on profile — this is a small team, and the role makes the work as well as directs it.
- Highly organized, adaptable, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
- Passionate about the Fashion & Luxury industry.
- NYC-based and able to be in studio and on-site at events.
Terms: Ongoing fractional contract, hybrid, approximately 10 hours per week.
