Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on building systems including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues using schematics, electrical equipment repair techniques, and tools.
- Conduct plumbing system maintenance and repairs, including fixing leaks, unclogging drains, and replacing fixtures.
- Maintain HVAC systems by diagnosing issues, repairing units, and replacing filters to ensure optimal climate control.
- Execute carpentry tasks such as repairing doors, cabinets, drywall patches, and building interior features with precision.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for facilities equipment repairs and general upkeep.
- Assist with projects involving specialized trades when necessary.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and repair logs to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to resident requests and communicating clearly about repair timelines.
Experience
- Experience in residential or commercial property maintenance with a background in electrical work, plumbing, HVAC system repair, carpentry, and mechanical knowledge.
- Demonstrated ability to operate hand tools efficiently along with specialized equipment.
- Strong communication skills in English to interact professionally with residents and team members.
- Experience working with painting techniques and performing building interior and exterior updates to enhance property aesthetics.
