Who are you

Here at TabaPay we process millions of transactions each month. As a Treasury Analyst here at TabaPay it is the treasury team who is responsible for making sure each transaction is reported and reconciles on both TabaPay and the clients side. Every transaction must match up exactly and if not, we must use critical thinking to dig up the missing variable.

• You are Curious about how payments work, coupled with the ability to learn and adapt to new and emerging payment flows
• You are problem solver. You are data driven and analytical, and can propose hypothesis and run rapid tests to validate them

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience, combined experience in treasury/payments
• Prior experience running reporting, reconciliation, and settlement within the finance or fintech industry.
• Strong understanding of card payments. Knowledge of non-card payments a plus.
• Strong system and data flow knowledge with ability to learn and adapt to new product flows and software technologies
• Professional experience monitoring payment transactions and confirming they are in line with client internal, and regulatory guidelines.

• Experience in banking or fintech preferred; Candidates with experience in acquirer systems, knowledge of interchange, and reporting will be preferred
• Python knowledge preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop a clear understanding of how TabaPay works including funds operations, reporting and revenue recognition across all our payment networks and clients
• Own TabaPay’s reporting, reconciliation, and settlement platform:
• Perform Reporting, Reconciliation, and settlements for all of TabaPay transactions.
• Collaborate and establish strong relationships with Treasury, Finance, Product and Technology teams to ensure smooth daily reconciliation and settlement activities
• Assemble, compile, and analyze information, and resolve errors/inconsistencies in data from financial reporting systems.
• Support audit requests.
• Proactively work to improve operational efficiencies and effectiveness. Streamline daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual processes.

• TabaPay is headquartered in Palo Alto and operates on a hybrid work model, requiring in-office attendance on a hybrid schedule. Standard hours: Wednesday through Sunday, 1:00PM – 8:00 PM PST

The pay range for this position is $125,000; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
