Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a NEBB CP/CT at TAB Plus located in San Diego, CA. The NEBB CP/CT will be responsible for performing and overseeing testing, adjusting, and balancing (TAB) of HVAC systems. Day-to-day tasks include Testing, Adjusting and Balancing of HVAC systems, conducting field inspections, performing system diagnostics, maintaining detailed records of test results and adjustments, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. The NEBB CP/CT will also collaborate with other team members and contractors to ensure that all HVAC systems perform efficiently and effectively.
Qualifications
- NEBB CP/CT Certification
- 3 Years of verifiable experience with Testing, Adjusting, and Balancing (TAB)
- Knowledge of HVAC systems and industry standards
- Strong analytical and diagnostic skills
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and on site in San Diego, CA
- Experience with industry software and tools
- Candidates with AABC/TABB certification or 5 years of verifiable TAB experience will also be considered, provided they are eligible to transition to NEBB certification.
Salary
• Hourly Rate: $40 – $80 per hour, based on experience, certification level, and qualifications
- Compensation will be tailored to experience and qualifications, and salary is not a limiting factor for the right candidate
• Overtime: Paid at 1.5x – 2x standard rate
• Shift Differential: Additional pay for select night projects
• Travel: Per diem and hotel coverage for out-of-area assignments
• Performance bonuses tied to accuracy, productivity, and project completion
