Position: IT Field Services Technician
We are seeking an IT Field Services Technician to join our team of dedicated professionals providing exceptional service and technical support to clients.
Position Overview
In this role, you will:
- Travel to client sites within a two-hour radius to provide on-site support.
- Configure, install, and troubleshoot:
- Windows PCs (hardware and software).
- Network devices (switches, routers, firewalls, wireless).
- Printers and other peripherals.
- Troubleshoot servers, including Active Directory and associated services.
- Utilize ConnectWise tools for documentation, issue tracking, and client communication.
- Participate in an after-hours support rotation (3–4 times per year).
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Skills
Operating Systems & Virtualization
- Microsoft Windows 10 & 11.
- Windows Server (2012R2–2025).
- Virtualization platforms: Hyper-V and VMware.
Networking
- LAN, WAN, and WLAN configuration and troubleshooting.
- Protocols, QoS, VLANs, and related hardware.
- VPN setup and troubleshooting (site-to-site and client-to-site).
- Firewall and router configuration.
Security & Compliance
- Multifactor authentication (2FA) setup and management.
- Familiarity with MDR, EDR, and antivirus solutions.
Collaboration & Communication Tools
- Microsoft 365 administration (Email, OneDrive, SharePoint, Azure).
- On-premises Exchange Server.
- Basic configuration and troubleshooting of VOIP systems.
Preferred Certifications
- A , Network , Security , Microsoft 365, SonicWall, Windows Client/Server.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of IT industry experience.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with professionalism under pressure.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving ability.
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and documentation practices.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable, insured vehicle for client travel.
Physical Requirements
- Lift and transport equipment up to 75 lbs
- Ability to sit, stand, and work at a computer for extended periods
- Vision, hearing, and speech sufficient for in-person and phone communication

Additional Details

Pay: $58,000.00 - $68,000.00 per year
