What are the responsibilities and job description for the TAB Intern - Corporate Underwriting position at TAB Bank?
TAB’s Corporate Underwriting Intern will learn an understanding of asset based lending and factoring; an understanding of credit analysis, including financial statement and A/R collateral analysis; the ability to complete financial statement spreads using the Moody's system; be exposed to loan committee presentations. This Internship will run from early June 2026 to late August 2026.
Projects, task-oriented goals and milestones for this role to accomplish:
- Ability to complete financial spreads
- Refine and further develop department's procedure manual
- Assist in the preparation of various credit summaries for presentation to the appropriate approving body
Successful Intern candidates will have:
- Basic understanding of accounting, including balance sheets, income statement, accounts receivable, and inventor
- Basic understanding of financial ratios, including current ratio and debt to net worth
- In-depth understanding of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
Expect to gain:
- High level understanding of Bank Operations
- Understanding of Asset Based Lending and Underwriting
- Exposure to Project Management
