Senior Account Executive
TAA PR is seeking an experienced Senior Account Executive to join our Washington, DC team. This is a full-time, hybrid position for a highly motivated communications professional who is passionate about media relations, storytelling, and building impactful campaigns for some of the country’s most recognized hospitality and lifestyle brands.
The Senior Account Executive will serve as a day-to-day client lead, developing and executing strategic media relations campaigns, securing high-impact earned media coverage, writing press materials, managing media outreach, supporting restaurant and hotel openings, coordinating special events and brand collaborations, and executing integrated communications programs.
The ideal candidate is a strong writer, confident communicator, and relationship builder who thrives in a fast-paced agency environment. They should enjoy balancing strategy with execution and be equally comfortable pitching national media, advising clients, managing multiple deadlines, and collaborating across teams to deliver exceptional results.
This role also offers opportunities to mentor junior team members, contribute to new business initiatives, and represent both clients and the agency at industry events.
Qualifications
* 5 years of public relations experience in an agency or in-house communications role
* Proven experience developing and executing successful earned media campaigns
* Established relationships with national, regional, broadcast, digital, and trade media
* Exceptional writing, editing, and verbal communication skills
* Experience managing multiple client accounts in a fast-paced environment
* Hospitality, restaurant, hotel, travel, luxury, fashion, or lifestyle experience strongly preferred
* Strong organizational and project management skills with exceptional attention to detail
* Ability to think strategically while executing flawlessly
* Entrepreneurial mindset with a collaborative, positive attitude
* Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
* Ability to work in a hybrid environment based in Washington, DC, including attendance at client meetings and events as needed
